Dependents can be included under an existing expat health insurance account. Keep in mind that each dependent will need their own policy number, but all of these dependent policies can be managed within a single Feather account.

To add a dependent, simply:

  • Sign up for expat health insurance for yourself first (or for the person you want to be the main policyholder)

  • Once you have your own expat health insurance policy, log into your Feather account and view your policy

  • Click 'add dependents' and sign up the dependent with whichever policy you wish

  • For students* under 35, the price is €45 and for students over 35, €60 per month

  • The price is €60 per month for any other persons until the age of 65

  • The price is 204 per month for persons ages 65-75

*(After high school) University, language courses, Au-pair, etc.

That's it! You'll receive your policy documents for each person and you can use those as your proof of coverage should you need it.
