How do I get my visa-compliance insurance certificate?
Your visa-compliant insurance certificate is available in both Spanish and English. It will be available in your account immediately after sign-up.
It will specifically mention that our insurance company is authorized to operate in Spain by the Directorate General of Insurance and Pension Funds (DGSFP), with registration code L1497. It also states that this is "a health insurance policy with unlimited medical coverage comparable to the public health system in Spain, without copayments, waiting periods or deductibles, including, among others, hospitalization, medical consultations, operations (surgical and outpatient), emergencies, diagnostic tests, medical repatriation and repatriation of mortal remains. This policy is valid for national visas. It is not a travel insurance." It will list your selected insurance start date, and the end date as 5 years from your arrival in Spain.
