Some treatments require a waiting period before you can use them:
6 months
Specialist tests and advanced diagnostics
Planned (non-urgent) surgeries
Psychotherapy
Family planning
8 months
Hospitalisation (non-urgent)
Childbirth (pregnancy & delivery)
Waiting periods don’t apply to emergencies or accidents
They may be waived if you had similar coverage with another insurer for at least 12 months
