What does not the private health insurance cover?

While our private insurance offers very comprehensive coverage, there are some important exclusions to be aware of.

  • Out-of-network care (doctors or clinics outside our network are not covered)

  • Outpatient medication (only covered during hospital stays)

  • Pre-existing conditions (may be excluded)

Not covered treatments include:

  • Cosmetic or aesthetic procedures

  • Fertility treatments (e.g. IVF)

  • Refractive eye surgery (laser vision)

  • Most advanced dental treatments (e.g. implants, orthodontics)

  • Experimental or non-approved treatments

Other exclusions:

  • Alternative medicine (e.g. homeopathy, acupuncture)

  • Injuries from high-risk activities or substance abuse

  • Some advanced therapies (e.g. gene or regenerative treatments)

Note: Some excluded services may still be available at discounted rates.
